Our preferred method of payment is online through our customer portal at cta.authoritypay.com. You can also sign up for autopay and e-billing through our portal. We also accept checks via mail or our drop box located at 1270 Fairfield Road, Suite 9. Please be sure to include your account number on your check. We cannot take card payments over the phone or in the office.
You can pay with a card through our customer portal at cta.authoritypay.com. There is a 2.65% processing fee from our processor for card payments.
A 10% penalty is assessed after the due date. Unpaid balances accrue 1% monthly interest on unpaid balances over 60 days. Accounts with unpaid balances over $470 will be referred to collections. Email filters are updated regularly and can send your mass emails to the Spam folder. In order to ensure your bill shows up each quarter, please add”no-reply@authoritypay.com” to your safe senders list in your email settings. Please note- the Authority is not responsible for missing e-bills, as you are required to verify your email upon enrollment, guaranteeing future delivery.
Great question! We try to mail the bills by the first or second business day of each quarter, so start checking your mailbox around the 5th. If you have not received your paper bill by 7th, it may be on a tour of the state. You can access it through our
customer portal at cta.authoritypay.com or give us a call at the office and we can get it to you.

If you are moving away, your settlement company will get in touch with us for a final sewer bill pro-rated to that settlement date.
